This catalogue presents a number of important works carried out by Spanish painter Joaquin Sorolla for the main building of the Hispanic Society of America, which include a group of scenes dedicated to the theme of the diversity of Spanish regions, as well as a series of portraits of contemporary Spanish intellectuals and artists, including promiment members of the "Generacion del 98," including Blasco Ibanez, Menendez Pelayo, Pio Baroja, Juan Ramon Jimenez, Jose Ortega y Gasset, and Ramon Perez de Ayala. This is a hardcover edition of a title Worldwide originally carried in its paperbound edition (see Worldwide number 026884). Well-preserved volume is in dust jacket that shows light shelfwear.
