Eugene Smith's never-before-published work The Big Book -- two self-produced, folio-sized maquettes, now part of the Smith Archive at the Center for Creative Photography at the University of Arizona, that feature an extended photo essay reflecting Smith's philosophy of art and critique of the world -- along with a third, supporting volume that includes critical texts, Smith's manuscript The Walk to Paradise Garden, and an appendix mapping Smith's layout, with titles, dates and reproductions of each image made from original prints.
