Recreating Les trente-six vues de la Tour Eiffel, a 1902 publication that showcased a series of lithographic illustrations of the Eiffel Tower by noted French artist Riviere (1864-1951), this book was published on the occasion of exhibitions titled "Impressionist Paris: City of Light" (see Worldwide 72947) and "Japanesque: The Japanese Print in the Era of Impressionism" (see Worldwide 73612), both of which were held in 2010 at the Legion of Honor, Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco.
