Held at multiple Pace Gallery venues in celebration of its 50th anniversary, this exhibition presented works produced in recent decades by such artists as Close, Flavin, Tapies, Hockney, Judd, Rauschenberg, Samaras, Schnabel, Shapiro, Sugimoto, Tuttle, and Warhol, while also offering focused recreations of significant historical shows mounted by the Gallery since the 1960s, among them "Stock Up for the Holidays: A Survey of Pop Art" (1962), "Pablo Picasso: The Avignon Paintings" (1981), "De Kooning/Dubuffet: The Women" (1991), and "Bonnard/Rothko: Color and Light" (1997).
