Presents images by American photographer and filmmaker Messick (b. 1965) that document the life of his childhood neighbor Gordon Brinckle (1915-2007), the night projectionist at a movie theater in Middletown, Delaware, who in his free time meticulously constructed a miniature version of a grand movie palace in his basement; features reproductions of many examples of Brinckle's fanciful original artwork, including drawings and linoleum prints of imaginary theaters, ticket stubs and movie-usher uniform designs.
