Although not published by the Guggenheim Museum, this volume documents a series of performance re-enactments presented at the Museum by renowned Serbian performance artist Abramovic (b. 1946) over a one-week period in November, 2005, including seminal pieces originally presented in the 1960s and 70s by Bruce Nauman, Vito Acconci, Valie Export, Gina Pane, Joseph Beuys and Abramovic herself.
