Examining the brief but productive history of one of the most important potteries of the American Arts and Crafts movement, this catalogue showcases some 50 vases and other pieces produced from 1910 to 1914 by master ceramists associated with the Art Academy and Porcelain works (among them Taxile Doat and Adelaide Alsop Robineau), founded in 1909 by entrepreneur and publisher Edward G. Lewis in the St. Louis suburb of University City, Missouri.
