Showcasing a series of pedagogical images created by Austrian philosopher and spiritualist Steiner (1861-1925) during public lectures delivered from 1919 to 1924, this catalogue presents full-page reproductions of 40 drawings in colored chalk on black paper along with excerpts from Steiner's lectures and two essays examining conceptual and aesthetic aspects of his drawings, the work characterized by expressively rendered configurations of circles, arrows, spirals and other diagrammatic forms designed to illuminate the scholar's ideas on art, medicine, "spiritual science" and other subjects.
