Showcasing four paintings by Bolognese artist Innocenzo (1490/1494-ca. 1545) and including illustrations of more than 50 works by Francia, Perugino, Ramenghi and other precursors and contemporaries of the painter, this scholarly study of Innocenzo's early career features nine essays examining his stylistic development in the light of his association with Francia's workshop and artistic trends in Emilia-Romagna and Tuscany during the early Cinquecento.
