Highlighting works produced primarily during the 1980s by Catalan artist Brossa (b. 1919) and Chilean artist Parra (b. 1914), this catalogue presents found-object "poems" and "artefacts" by two artist/writers whose sculptures and visual poetry share strong links to the principles of Surrealism and Dada. A selection of brief statements by the artists augments two concise critical essays and a discussion of avant-garde poetics.
