Documenting an exhibition of some 30 abstract sculptures and numerous related drawings by noted Dusseldorf sculptors Heerich (b. 1922) and Kricke (1922-1984) and by two younger artists who attended the city's Kunstakademie, this catalogue features an introductory essay and individual discussions of the featured works, which include Heerich's Minimalist architectonic constructions, Kricke's expressive wire sculptures, recent bronze coil compositions by Christian (b. 1952) and faceted hollow spheres by Nishikawa (b. 1949).
