Includes a critical essay reviewing Bogomazov's stylistic development and his links to such figures as Alexandra Exter and David Burljuk, an illustrated biographical chronology, and the full text (in French translation) of the artist's lengthy theoretical treatise Painting and Its Elements (1914), never previously published in its entirety.
