A substantial survey of the oeuvre of German artist Jung (b. 1941), whose work since the 1960s has been centered on explorations of light and color, this catalogue features excellent reproductions of 65 vibrant abstract paintings and drawings (mainly compositions based on luminous horizontal bands or intersecting planes) and an array of stylistically related holographic pieces. Six texts include an examination of Jung's career, a statement by the artist, and discussions of the theory and technology of holography.
