This exhibition juxtaposed a recent series of 39 figurative oil collages and drawings by noted African American artist Benny Andrews (b. 1930) with 15 painted objects and vibrant pattern and narrative compositions by his father, Georgia folk artist George Andrews (b. 1911). The well-illustrated catalogue includes two essays exploring the artists' individual achievements and the connections between their works.
