Features 110 paintings, drawings and other works (mainly from the 1950s and 60s) by German-born American expressionist Zerbe, whose oeuvre consists of vibrant collage-like figure studies, portraits and landscapes. A reprinted 1961 essay by H.W. Janson and a discussion of Zerbe's years in Florida (1954-72) are included.
