The aim of this exhibition is to compare the Roman empire and the Chinese Qin and Han dynasties from the second century B.C. to the second century A.D. through the juxtaposition of masterpieces from the two, thus exploring their respective social and intellectual structures, political and economic environments, and in particular their contribution to humanity and the legacies of both to the civilizations of the East and West. This exhibtion was presented at four venues: Beijing World Art Museum (July to October 2009), Louyang Museum in Louyang (November 2009 to February 2010), Palazzo Reale, Milan (April to September 2010) and in Rome's Palazzo Venezia (September 2010 to January 2011). Volume is in very good condition.
