Packaged in an exact reproduction of a Tide laundry-detergent box, this catalogue accompanied a two-part exhibition curated by renowned American artist McCarthy (b. 1945) that presented a wide range of works relating to his perceptions of his career, including numerous works by McCarthy himself as well as drawings, sculptures, paintings, photographs, installations and films by such figures as Beuys, Brus, Cage, Disney, Export, Graham, Kaprow, Klein, Kusama, Lassnig, Ono, Roth and Warhol, along with various examples of McCarthy's own work.
