This publication was produced in conjunction with two exhibitions: the first, titled Grant Wood at 5 Turner Alley, was held at the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art in 2005 and coincided with the Museum's opening of the artist's Cedar Rapids studio, which it acquired in 2002; the second exhibition, which will have the same title as this publication, will be presented in 2006 at the Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian American Art Museum, Washington, D.C.
