Fine reproductions and often lengthy individual discussions of the exhibited works are accompanied by a detailed biographical chronology, a selection of Blanche's writings and seven essays that include examinations of the artist's stylistic development, his achievements as a novelist and critic, his extensive correspondence with Maurice Denis and his links with artistic and literary circles in Paris and London.
