Presenting a fine pictorial survey of the oeuvre of Italian artist Tullio Crali (b. 1910), a protege of Marinetti and a career-long proponent of the principles of Futurism, this catalogue features a highly detailed biographical chronology, a substantial text by the artist, brief discussions of his activities as an architect, stage designer and illustrator, and reproductions of more than 300 paintings, drawings, sculptural objects and other works dating from the 1920s through the 1980s, among them many dynamic, semi-abstract compositions evoking the sensations of mechanized flight or depicting landscapes viewed from aerial perspectives.
