Accompanying a vast exhibition organized to replicate the pioneering international exposition of decorative arts mounted in Turin in 1902, this massive catalogue features reproductions and individual discussions of hundreds of furniture pieces, objects in ceramic, glass and metal, graphic and architectural designs, and other works by such artists as Victor Horta, Fernand Khnopff, Georges de Feure, Peter Behrens, Joseph Maria Olbrich, Walter Crane, Galileo Chini, Carlo Bugatti, Hendrik Petrus Berlage and Charles Rennie Mackintosh. Three essays discussing the organization of the 1902 exhibition and the architectural styles of the pavilions erected at the site preface 15 texts that examine the special photography section of the exposition and profile the contributions of Italy, Germany, Scotland, England, France and the six other European countries that participated in the show.
