Fine reproductions and individual descriptions of the featured works (many never before exhibited in the West) are accompanied by eleven concise discussions of the artistic traditions of the Urartaean, Scythian, ancient Persian, Greek, Etruscan, Roman, Sarmatian, Sassanian and other civilizations represented in the exhibition.
