Surveys the highly varied oeuvre of well-known British artist Hamilton (b. 1922), presenting illustrations of his influential Pop art collages of the early 1960s, colorful blurred landscapes and hard-edge paintings of interiors from the 70s, and designs from the 80s for high-tech electronic equipment. Supplemented with a text by the artist, four critical essays examine the sophisticated appropriation of popular imagery in Hamilton's portraits, the character of his involvement in the design of industrial products, and his innovative approach to the depiction of landscapes and interiors.
