Two introductory essays evaluating Filliou's complex oeuvre preface a lengthy illustrated chronology of the artist's career that incorporates numerous interviews, letters and critical texts (many of them reprinted) describing Filliou's major projects and documenting films, performances and ephemeral works not included in the exhibition.
