A key figure in the development of modern architecture in Italy and Switzerland, Sartoris (b. 1901) was a founder of the CIAM and an active participant in and major proponent of such international avant-garde movements as Rationalism, Futurism and Constructivism. This catalogue presents an anthology of 22 essays and testimonial texts discussing diverse aspects of the architect's oeuvre and influence, complemented by photographs of projects constructed from the 1920s to the 80s and by reproductions of numerous drawings and axonometric projections.
