Featuring full-page and detail illustrations of 65 paintings as well as reproductions of 76 drawings and eleven tapestries, the catalogue includes individual commentaries on the works, a detailed chronicle of Vouet's career in Rome and Paris, thorough studies of his workshop and the engravings produced after his paintings, and an extensive critical anthology (1652-1953).
