The result of a collaboration between architect-educator-philosopher Eric Ellingsen, German artist Julius von Bismarck (b. 1983) and Swiss artist Julian Charriere (b. 1987) -- a project that also resulted in a site-specific performance first presented in 2012 at the Venice Biennale for Architecture -- this book features photographs of brightly colored pigeons by Von Bismarck and Charriere accompanied by a variety of theoretical and conceptual texts, including an interview with Olafur Eliasson and a conversation with Ai Weiwei.
