This large-format publication grew out of a recent collaborative project in which German photographer Armin Linke (b. 1966) and Serbian-born architect Srdjan Jovanovic Weiss (b. 1967) documented Socialist-era architecture in present-day Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia and Serbia, buildings that were left vacant or were repurposed when the Socialist Federation of Yugoslavia was dismantled in the early 1990s.
