Released in conjunction with a major traveling exhibition that debuted at the Oakland Museum of Art in April 2012 (though not specifically documenting the show), this book surveys the career of American indie cartoonist and alternative comic-book artist Clowes (b. 1961), reproducing some of his best-known illustrations, along with previously unpublished works, sketchbook pages and personal photographs, and featuring an insightful interview and six critical texts that examine various aspects of his work.
