This book includes documentation of Orlan's Harlequin Coat installation, a project that arose from a collaboration between the Sheldon Museum of Art and the Interdisciplinary Arts Symposium based in the Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln; the museum installation resulting from this collaboration coincided with the Textile Society of America's 12th Biennial Symposium, "Textiles and Settlement: From Plains Space to Cyber Space," held at the UNL in October, 2010.
