Prefaced by a short critical text, this volume presents a facsimile of the three-volume Le Vatican et la basilique de Saint-Pierre de Rome (A. Morel et Cie, Paris, 1882), an important architectural sourcebook written by French architect Paul Letarouilly (1795-1855) that documented the architecture and architectural decoration of the Vatican.
