This chiefly pictorial volume presents a series of images by German photographer Leve (b. 1936) thoroughly documenting Block Beuys, a monumental installation composed of vitrine-encased found objects and materials, created in the 1960s by renowned German artist Joseph Beuys (1921-1986) and now permanently installed in seven interconnected rooms in the Hessische Landesmuseum, Darmstadt.
