This chiefly pictorial volume presents a controversial series of works by British artists Jake (b. 1962) and Dinos Chapman (b. 1966) created by altering one of the few remaining sets of a 1937 edition of Francisco Goya's Disasters of War print series (produced from Goya's original plates) through the superimposition of grotesque cartoon faces over those of Goya's suffering allegorical figures, the images introduced with a brief essay by Jake Chapman.
