Combining photographs and video stills, this volume examines the family crisis which occurred for American artist Epstein (b. 1952) when a building owned by his father, a prominent Holyoke businessman, was set on fire by two 12-year-old boys. The text includes an introduction by Epstein as well as dialogues about the transformation of Holyoke from an industrial center to a city plagued by drug problems.
