SERVICES FOR INDIVIDUALS
  
Although Worldwide’s services are structured to accommodate first and foremost the needs of our library clients, we welcome orders and inquiries from individuals interested in purchasing items from our on-hand inventory. However, because our pricing, discounts and inventory levels are structured to accommodate the needs of our library clients, Worldwide reserves the right to limit quantities or to refuse orders for specific titles, particularly for titles that may be out of print, are available in very limited quantities only, or that have only recently been offered to our library clients.
 
Worldwide does not offer discounts to individuals, and we cannot accept orders from individuals for out-of-stock or out-of-print titles. All orders from individuals must be prepaid by check, money order or credit card. Orders from individuals located in New York, Indiana or Canada are subject to sales tax.
 
Although the vast majority of titles listed as available in the database can be supplied immediately or with minimal delay, daily changes in our holdings make it impossible for us to guarantee that every title listed as available can be shipped immediately. In many cases, on-hand quantities are extremely limited, and scores of titles sell out daily, without their status being immediately updated on our Web site.
 
Although we try to maintain inventory on recently advertised titles, there may be slight delays in filling orders if our stock is depleted prematurely and we must submit a new order to the publisher or distributor. Understandably, delays may be longer if we are ordering from sources overseas. We understand that libraries or individuals hoping to acquire a specific title immediately may be disappointed to learn that a title appearing on our Web site is not immediately available for shipment. For that reason, we always encourage clients that may need a title immediately to contact us by telephone or email to confirm current availability.
